Sous Chef Indian Restaurant
We are looking for experienced Sous Chefs for an independent restaurant group with units in Hornchurch and Brentwood.
The restaurants are high-end casual fine dining with menus that showcase authentic North Indian cuisine including Punjabi & Tandoori dishes, Karahi and open fire cooking. The focus is on strong flavours and innovative presentation; service is relaxed but professional and the restaurant offers a full take-away service too.
Duties will include supporting the Head Chef to ensure that every aspect of the service runs smoothly and running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
Required skills and experience:
Our ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in a similar standard Indian restaurant with an excellent knowledge of regional Indian cuisine, capable of working across all sections and running the pass.
Salary: Up to £35,000 + bonus
5-day week, straight shifts, closed Mondays.
