We have an immediate vacancy for a reliable Head Chef for an independent Tapas bar in Petts Wood. Menus showcase traditional Spanish tapas with as much as possible prepared in-house. The vibe is more kitchen and bar than restaurant with customers encouraged to drop in for drinks and snacks rather than a 3-course meal. There are plans to start a full takeaway service in the future.

The kitchen is compact but well equipped.

Daily Duties will include:

• All food production, stock management & wastage
• Menu development, daily specials & quality assurance
• Compliance with all statutory regulations and legislation
• Food safety & hygiene
• The kitchen budget and GP

We are looking for an enthusiastic hands-on chef with excellent experience of Spanish Tapas, capable of running the kitchen alone, with help at busy times. Someone friendly and approachable who wants to commit several years to the business.

This position might suit a capable Sous Chef ready to step up to a 1^st Head Chef role.

• Up to 50 hours a week over 5 days
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Salary: £40,000 + service charge
• Profit share option on offer for the right candidate
