Pastry Chef/Baker
This very busy independent all-day café/restaurant situated in one of London’s parks is looking for an experienced pastry chef/baker to support the Head Baker on the daytime bakery operation. The company operate 3 busy sites, and the bakery produces sourdoughs, ciabattas, cakes, traybakes, muffins and pastries for all 3 cafes. This includes the eat in and food-to-go counters and sourdough pizzas in the summer months. The night baker is responsible for most of the bread production.
The bakery is air-conditioned and professionally equipped with Chandley ovens, Ferneto Mixers & JAC Slicer etc.
You will be working in a small, friendly team, and will help with all aspects of the production and efficient running of the bakery, including:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable pastry chef/baker with good commercial bakery experience and a “can do” attitude to work. Capable of working in a small hands-on team delivering a high standard product; in touch with responsible food provenance and industry trends.
