This expanding group of restaurants that champion British cheese throughout its sites is looking for an experienced Area Chef specifically to streamline the operation of its flagship cheese bar with a view to fine tuning the brand before rolling out to other locations.

 

Situated in one of London’s food halls we specialise in innovative and creative cheese parings that push customers to try something new! The team includes an in-house cheesemonger, kitchen manager and prep chefs who make the accompaniments and assemble the dishes.

 

Main responsibilities.

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and kitchen manager.
  • Create new cheese pairings and menu items.
  • Create spec sheets for all dishes to ensure quality and consistency of service.
  • Design and implement an operation’s manual for the kitchen.
  • Review all food costings and profit margins.
  • Prepare the brand for multisite openings.

The role is currently based in one site with the potential of a multi-site role as we expand. We are looking for a passionate and creative Chef to work with us on taking this site to the next level.

This position would suit an experienced chef with strong kitchen management skills who doesn’t want to spend all day tied to the stove. Previous multisite experience would be an advantage.

48-hour week over 5 days, including 1 day office-based work for admin

£40,000 + bonus
